Monthly Jazz and Blues on Thursday evenings as well as musical entertainment every Friday and Saturday evening. All of our events are free entry, but on Thursday Jazz and Blues evenings we do ask that you indulge in at least a two course meal when you book a table.

June 2017
Cool Hand Pete Hayward & Graham Harrison

Singer/guitarist Peter Hayward and harmonica player Graham Harrison have both been playing blues since they were teenagers in 1960s. Although they were influenced by classic old-time blues singers like Bill Big Broonzy, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee they also bring the same spirit to the more modern songs that they also include in their repertoire. Pete provides full historical details of all the songs, as well his own personal connections to them and their original performers.

By using the loop pedal people can hear Tom build up layers of sound which include; beat boxing, harmonies, guitar overdubs, bongos, cajon and other percussion, which gives the impression that there are more musicians at work. This unique style with his vocals and guitar over the top makes Tom stand out from the crowd.
